German Indie meets Glam-Pop: Tusker and Léon The Singer share the stage for a night of emotional indie grooves and flamboyant pop spectacle. Expect vulnerable storytelling, driving rhythms, theatrical performance, and music that moves both the heart and the dance floor.
Tusker is a music project founded in 2020 by Tom Tusker. At its core lies a blend of vulnerable lyricism and rhythmically dense soundscapes. The songs explore intimate interpersonal moments—situations and emotions that many people recognize but rarely put into words.
Musically, the project draws on influences from Latin, Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, and Pop, shaping them into a distinctive indie sound that invites both reflection and release. In a live setting, Tusker becomes a dynamic band collective: driving grooves, expressive trumpet lines, and an energetic stage presence create a performance that balances introspection with uninhibited movement on the dance floor.
Léon The Singer is a singer, dancer, and performer who blends the theatrical spirit of ’70s glam rock with the infectious energy of Y2K dance pop, creating his signature genre: Glam-Pop. A former dancer and choreographer, Léon studied at the Folkwang Universität der Künste from 2014 to 2018, graduating with a BA in Dance.
His music draws from a wide spectrum of influences: the ultra-pop icons Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Britney Spears, the experimental edge of Lou Reed and David Bowie, and the vibrant worlds of Berlin drag, cabaret, and Pina Bausch’s dance theatre. Léon’s artistic journey reflects this duality—balancing pop spectacle with the vulnerability of personal transformation. On stage, his alter ego Andro Genes embodies confidence, charisma, and theatrical flair, turning each performance into a larger-than-life experience.
